How much Algo trading firm pay to IIT /BITS coders CS profiles with 5-7 years of experience. I am talking about alphagrep, tower research , milleniim etc I heard they pay north of 4 lakhs monthly to interns.. Any clue - CS :quant folks????

- is it the identification of the opportunities/stocks to trade? - Is it the difficulty in knowing when to enter & when to exit? - Is it the inability to really understand the market signals? - Is it the inability to create algo based strategies to Trade on? - Also, it’s possible. Can you help with tools you use for alto trading and your strategies?

Do you rely on moving averages, Support and resistance or do you add anything else as well. Would love to know your approach :)

I am a profitable trader since years but since last 4 months I have made a good profit of 2.95 lakh using capital of 5 lakh by taking overall trade of more than 250-300 (per day 2-3 trades ) All the trade are in equity I have found 2-3 Staretgies which has high accuracy of around 60-70% with 1:2 risk reward I have spent years to found this edge and now I want to automate(algo trading) 1 of my strategies Can anyone help me? I am also a programmer

The initial Cap was 30L. Right now, last month's total PBT was $37k

In every tutorials, blogs, articles, we have seen written ' for beginners ' . But for what type of beginners? I need u to assume 2 cases :- Software engineering isn't for everyone. One can be hardworking for years and learn DSA but we can't say he is intelligent if he isn't able to understand concepts in first attempt ( as it is obvious if someone is studying something for a long period of time he is going to remember/understand/memorise it ). BUT THEY WILL WORK AT LOW PACKAGE FOR THIER WHOLE LIFE or may be he drops the idea of becoming SE. On the other hand, if there a guy whose thinking ability is good, can understand things in one go, doesn't memorize the code and have the all basic concepts clear in mind. WHO CAN BECOME A SUCCESSFUL C++ DEVELOPER?

I got selected as an Quant intern in one of the trading companies. I will be joining them in June, so what are some topics I should go through before joining so that things will become somewhat easier for me. If you can share some resources it would be really helpful.
