How has the Zomato ESOP success stories been like?

Haven't heard a lot about it, but I'm sure folks working there since 2017-18 or so would have made close to 3-4 Cr by now? did some mid-senior people retire from that money?

I'm very excited about District by Zomato

Few people execute like Deepinder Goyal and the Zomato team. Bookmyshow has been a pretty stagnant app, and limited in it's potential. I am just excited as a consumer to see what they do in this space. Events apps abroad have done crazy number of things, let's hope we head there.

Zomato Sees Rs 5,438.50 Crore Block Deal as Antfin Singapore Likely Sells Stake

- Zomato's shares worth Rs 5,438.50 crore were sold in a block deal on August 20, with Antfin Singapore Holding likely being the seller. - The transaction involved 21 crore shares, representing a 2.4 percent stake, sold at a floor price of Rs 258 apiece, a nearly 2 percent discount over the previous closing price. - Following the deal, Zomato's shares fell over 1 percent, trading at Rs 259.20 on the NSE at 09.21 am. - Antfin Singapore Holding, a subsidiary of Alibaba Group, owned a 4.3 percent stake in Zomato and the sale triggers a 90-day lock-in period before another equity dilution. - The stake sale follows Zomato's quarterly earnings report, which showed a net profit surge of 126.5 times to Rs 253 crore, driven by increased platform fees and improved operational profitability in Blinkit. Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal Vows to Remove AI-Generated Food Images from Menus

- Deepinder Goyal, CEO of Zomato Ltd., announced on platform X that AI-generated food images will be removed from restaurant menus due to their misleading nature. - Goyal cited numerous customer complaints about AI-generated images leading to breaches of trust, higher complaints, refund requests, and lower ratings. - Zomato will start removing such images by the end of the month and offers partner restaurants a photoshoot service at a pass-through cost. - The ban on AI-generated images also extends to Zomato's marketing team, prohibiting further use of such content. - Netizens largely supported Goyal's stance, with some highlighting issues of multiple restaurants using the same AI-generated images.
