FMCG waalon, kahaan ho?

That’s true. Interesting given the number of people in MBA - Sales and Marketing that join FMCGs. At this point in the product life cycle I think it’s more likely the 2nd and 3rd connections of the founders of Grapevine are tech people and hence the early adopters are largely tech people. That and perhaps a smaller reason may be that tech folk are more inclined to be early adopters of new apps around jobs + add the fact that the max layoffs by sector is probably tech right now

How good/bad is ISB?

I've heard lots of conflicting good and bad viewpoints on ISB on Grapevine and otherwise. I want to explore these things more and build a balanced perspective. Good things I've heard:- 1. Average comp is decently high as most of the batch has a decent amount of experience. 2. Professors, their way of teaching and the actual course content is one of the best in India. 3. The network is really strong, easily accessible via many channels and helps alumni land jobs frequently. Bad things I've heard:- 1. Placement comp numbers are heavily inflated. 2. Resume shortlisting in placements is hard because everyone exaggerates a lot and there's no resume vetting. 3. Many people go unplaced. How much of this (good or bad) is true? Any other good or bad points?

How can I switch?

Hey grapevine folks, I want to switch to a product based company with good payscale, but finding it hard to even get one interview call. Also, is it even fine to switch right now as per market conditions? I work at a good MNC with 10 billion dollar + revenue, but I joined here as a fresher so I get paid less. I am into front-end development, specialising in Angular with 2yoe. Any leads would help greatly.
