The main factor why everyone calls it a sham is that it belongs to folks from LPU. Plus they ideally dont have a campus.

Stay away from MU. As per one of my friends, more than 30-40% of batch didn't sit for placements as they are working on their own startups. And they wantedly promoting such numbers and doing huge pr as they intend to increase their batch size.

Also, I would recommend you not to apply for MBA in the current market conditions

They say that their placement report is audited but do read this : This placement report of MU has used lots of loopholes to inflate the CTC and misrepresent.

1. they claim they have the same audit agency but does not have the same IPRS standards as IIM A
2. agency verifies the remuneration numbers from recruiters also in IIM A ( placement report 2022, page 2 point 3 mentions this) but in MU it mentions that agency did not verify it from recruiters ( page 4 point 2). So Agency took whatever data given by MU and used that. This data is prone to bias of MU mgmt.
3. in stock options in IIM A report clearly mentions that esops of 1 yr have been used and data of esops split of all eligible students is used ( page 3 point C). In MU it says that when data of esop split was not given, they used all 4 yrs ka data. Since they are already relying on MU supplying the data, MU can easily claim 4 yrs split was not given so that the entire amount can be used to inflate the 1 yr CTC.
4. all pages of IIM A report have the brickwork agency's stamp but only 3 pages of MU's report has the stamp

No campus, no alum base, only 60 people in a batch.

When you compare top 60 of any tier 1 college, you would know the difference, their average is almost 45LPA+
