Jargon reinvented by starups

What overused buzzword makes you want to scream? If I hear ""synergy"" one more time, I might lose it. What word or phrase is being beaten to death in your industry?

All those smartass founders use to keep bragging about “building for bharat” will need new lingo once we completely move from India to Bharat. Any guesses for the new term? 😛

I'll go first : 1. Clickup 2. whop 3. Even healthcare 4. Gumroad 5. Polymarket And mention the reason also, if possible. Time to discover some less-known startups 🍿

Which are the startups which are "successful" start ups, but make you go "how is that working? "

Come at me, I'm not scared. There is a reason why FAANG engineers are top-rated VS some random startup engineer. Here are the reasons why I think that Indian Startup culture is pure cringe: 1. The random use of the following emojis- 🚀💰📈📊💡 2. Fake enthusiasm for every little thing - "Wow! 25M people ordered condoms WOWOW!!!🚀" 3. Claim that you are a verb("company name"): "I am a (Zoman, Flipster, Swiggster or whatever)" but no one really knows about it outside of your company. 4. The HR is a proper softie in the name of Employee wellbeing but will end up being a sadist the moment layoffs happen. 5. Think hard if you really want to work in a place that is your LinkedIn feed on Steroids.

What are the most useless and abused acronyms at work which doesn't add any value and just sounds dumb. Or a few you heard and never could use it.... Eg. SGTM, sounds good to me ASAP, just over abused jeep, just expect every problem TMO, too many options OTP, on the phone
