This is why I pay my internet bill

How do you manage your reimbursable bills? Is there an app? Or do you just take photos of petrol bills, clothes bills etc? It’s a pain in the ass to keep these bills and then upload, but if you do it correctly, I’ve seen people save a lot. Is it worth the hassle?

I’ll go first, getting that old PSP, the one which had WiFi in built. Or maybe PlayStation 2 which was like 5k-6k back then. Now, I could get a PS5 or buy games to play on my PC, but the feeling is lost. Just like my childhood. I guess I lived a part of my childhood today. Went on a walk and had a Cornetto IceCream, which back then I didn’t have the money for and had to buy an Orange/Cola IceCream. Then, I walked around my society. Saw a few kids playing football and instantly teleported back to when I was a kid. Now that child is gone and the dream has too. But still, it feels good remembering that 5 year old me would be proud of adult me, and that’s what truly matters. 🥰

Heard it at the gym today. Someone to their friend: I usually don’t look at the bill but today I was bored so looked at it while chilling out with my friends. It mentioned 1x LIIT and 1x Gin and Tonic extra; that I didn’t order. So, I asked the waiter about it and he said that there were two girls who said that they were accompanying you and your buddies. They had left by the time the bill had come. 👀 Now, I have decided to check my bills very carefully. 😂 Do you check your bills carefully?

So short story long, I was just checking out my latest credit card bills and saw a notification in red on the home section of cred app calling out that your app is outdated please install the latest version. Once I opened the playstore and check the app it showed that no updates were pending but when I opened the app again it showed the same message and when I clicked download latest version it routed me back to the playstore listing and now the message is gone. Does it qualify as some sort of weird app traffic generation logic? And the short story long part is Maan I hate my credit card bills wtf. Like can't they just like waive off the bills if I have been paying it on time for years now atleast for one month they be like yeah dude you are paying a lot let cred take some burden off of you. I'm acoustic nevermind.

I bought something with my credit and returned the same after a few days. The amount was credited after the credit card bill generation. Do I have to pay the full credit card amount, and it will be adjusted in my November bill, or shall I deduct the amount and pay the bill?

Is it common that transactions that happened during the last billing cycle to show up within transactions of the current one? Because for me now, this month's statement included one major purchase that should have been billed last time, but since it came up in this month, my credit utilisation crossed like 60%. I will be going to the bank tomorrow, had gone yesterday too, to ask why this happened. Few more details: billing cycle for my HDFC Freedom Card is 16th. The major purchase happened at 15th of last month. I had pre-paid a major chunk for that purchase on the same day (which is showing up as Credit on last month's statement) but that purchase itself isn't showing up in that statement. Any insight from some of the more experienced folks would be appreciated, thanks!

Hello folks, Due to some financial crunch, I'm planning to get a credit card but I've heard from people about the scary stories of credit cards. Can any body who owns credit card can give his experience or any tips what card or how to use the card or any other general advice. I just want to use cc for online purchases and maybe in emergency situations. Thank you in advance.
