How hard is it to switch from a consulting firm with an experience of 2 year to a Backend Development role!

It will be hard. Keep committing in GitHub, showcase some of your projects in LinkedIn, etc things you can do.
I don't think it it's anything different.
It will be as hard as it is for others starting out.
Interviewer will be impressed with consulting experience. nothing more.
You ll have to start from ground 0. Work on skills. Look for jobs.
