Need help!!

ecently, have seen 5+ posts on LinkedIn, about Google hiring for different products like gen ai, security and education. In job portal, they haven't mentioned about MBA or any specific requirement apart from yoe. Wanted to know, what does Google wants in a PM, and what is the salary range for a PM there, if they need a 4 year experienced product manager? Also, how are these criterias soft or quite rigid?

Is it a good time for early in career(1.5 YoE) to join Google India. I am curious about their current culture like WFH policies, management outlook, direction of company, growth opportunity etc in Bangalore offices only. What can you tell as an insider to someone on the outside looking at Google for possible next switch. Also, are there opportunities to shift from Bangalore to other location outside India?

So, on LinkedIn, I see a lot of job opportunities at Google and Microsoft Bangalore. Some of it says onsite and a few are listed as remote. Just wondering, do these companies still offer remote roles? or is this a trick to attract applicants? Also, people who are already working here, have you guys ever requested for permanent WFH and it was approved?

I have worked at Microsoft for a year at L59, got the job through campus selection. Despite of a lot of hard work, my manager said there is not much hope to promote me to L60 even after 6 more months. I landed an offer in Google, with 25 percent increase in inhand salary and almost same valued stock component as in my current CTC. Despite of the salary change being so good, I’ve had people telling me that this is not a good time to switch to Google because: 1. The laying off secenario at Google 2. The work life balance has become terrible there in the past year 3. There is a lot of office politics there, so bad working environment in general 4. Microsoft Stocks have a lot more potential than Google stocks Please share your opinions on Google vs Microsoft. Thanks.

I have a Microsoft Noida SDE 1 (L60) offer letter with base 21l + 2l variable + 48k stocks and a JP Morgan SDE 2 offer letter with base 21l + 2l variable. I have 3.3 years of experience as a backend Java developer. In Microsoft, I interviewed for L61, but they gave me L60. What should I do?

Have joined microsoft recently and doesn't liking the team, neither the shitty culter neither my manager. Willing to make a switch. I am an android developer, with roughly 3 yrs of exp. Planning to start prepration for switching to other companies for SDE2, have around 3 yrs of experience now totally. What should I focus on more? I am pretty okay in DSA, but still will start from scratch. Any resources or roadmap that can help for SDE2 roles in companies like Microsoft, Google, Walmart or Atlassian, etc. Current compensation is 20lpa, looking for around 35lpa in switch. Hey everyone! I'm currently working as a senior analytics guy (overall work experience of ~5.5 years) and am looking for a switch. Here are the 2 options that I have for now: 1. Amazon (BA II) offering a fixed of 32L, to join in Hyderabad for a team where majority people sit out of Seattle. 2. Bolt (a startup based out of Estonia, primarily dealing in ride sharing, food delivery and others) offering ~€70k annually as fixed compensation (relocation sponsored). Currently a bit confused as I haven't heard really great reviews about Amazon, but at the same time don't know how the move to relocate internationally for the first time will work. Did a light research on salary and cost of living in Estonia, and found out that this is a pretty good number to get. Does anyone have any idea either about how WLB is at Amazon or at Bolt? What would be a better move here? (Bolt offering the role of an Analytics lead)

Contemplating between an offer at Google vs a Series A startup, in India, with similar pay. I'm curious to know if Google as a name on the resume (or for future prospects) is still as big as it was maybe 5-8 years ago? Or is India just a low cost employee centre for them and it'll always be down-the-stream work, at the whims of middle/senior managers?
