Software Engineers in China
How are Indian Software Engineers treated in China? Since there's a decent amount of enmity between the two nations does this anyhow affect the people working there?
The so called enemity is in India.
China doesn't even consider us as competition. Period.
You will have good time there. I have never been discriminated there.
The most unpopular city of china are the best. I had gone to China in 2010 odd. To a tier 2 city, i was like a celebrity with people wanting to take pics with me. Something I have never faced as an Indian in my life

why do you want to move to a country where you'll be spied on daily with limited freedom of speech ?
Very respectfully worked at a Chinese VC for sometime and stayed there for entire Covid. Even dated my legal associate and she was very respecting and hospitable.
Even one of my current developers is Chinese and he’s a very respecting
