Culture at Titan

I’ve worked at Titan. Here are some things to keep in mind:

Pros:

• Culture is great. People are very down to earth. The MD is seen in the canteen having breakfast with different teams everyday.
• if you opt for transport, you’ll leave the office at 4.55 everyday without fail
• people are nice as the company is doing well
• Office campus is beautiful. Trust me, it matters

Cons:

• Growth is extremely slow. The levels of hierarchy are too much. You will take 3 years for every promotion.
• Negotiate a good hike while joining. They only have one appraisal cycle a year. Push for the maximum while joining
• If you choose to stay near the workplace (E-city), that place is pretty dead. And commute to the main city takes time (and lots of money by Uber / Ola)

Overall, it’s a great move if you want to work for an established brand, with some stability. “People enter and exit Titan on their own free will” is a common saying there.
