Microsoft TPM hiring

Microsoft recently started hiring TPMs from engineering colleges like IITs and NITs. What are the chances that they will hire those interns as full-time TPMs by giving a PPO? Also, in case they don't, how good does TPM intern at Microsoft look on resume while applying for FT roles? PS: the TPM interns of this summer (2023) were the first batch to be hired like that.
