Google drive data lost for users
Google has potentially lost Google Drive user data. I am impacted. Cant find files of recent months. They are not much important to me. https://support.google.com/drive/thread/245055606/google-drive-files-suddenly-disappeared-the-drive-literally-went-back-to-condition-in-may-2023?hl=en
They did a mass delete for inactive accounts recently, no.
Guess they forgot a WHERE clause
LOL. From what I have noticed most users are facing problems after they updated to most recent version of drive client for windows. I count be wrong though. It would be interesting read when they publish their findings.

Seems like everything is there but if few files went missing here and there, won't be able to tell since there's a lot of files.

Well it still tells me I am running of data, and am at 97% of usage. SO I guess my files are safe, eh? :)
I feel like it's been pretty downhill for Google.
Apple is hitting it out of the park with hardware sales.
Microsoft is at the helm of AI news.
Amazon did Cloud super well.
Google... what was the last win they had? It's really sad but they might be the FAANG on the downturn.
Google literally has all the information of the world yet finds it difficult to innovate.
While we find students and non tech people in India doing lot of innovation

Holy shitt I lost hundred or so photos. A zip file not that important but very dear to me, I donāt even have backup for that file. Some pdf as wellššš
