18 Coaches of Howrah-Mumbai Express Derail in Jharkhand, 6 Injured

• Early Tuesday, the Howrah-Mumbai Express derailed near Jharkhand's Chakradharpur, injuring 5-6 passengers. The incident occurred at 3:43 am between Rajkharswan West Outer and Barabamboo.
• Initial reports indicate 18 coaches derailed, including 16 passenger coaches, one power car, and one pantry car. The derailment was caused by a goods train coming from the opposite direction.
• All injured passengers received first aid, and helpline numbers have been issued for Mumbai, Nagpur, and Bhusawal. Passengers are being transported to Chakradharpur by bus.
• This incident follows several recent derailments, including the Dibrugarh Express in Uttar Pradesh, which resulted in four deaths and 20 injuries, and a goods train derailment near Amroha.
• Railway officials are not terming the incident as major, and further investigation is underway.
