Team member doesn't work

I have an onshore counterpart, one level above me. We two are setting up the project and conducting workshops. The problems I have are: 1. I work in the B shift from 2 PM to 11 PM since the client is in PST. But i login usually at 10-11 2. My onshore counterpart works in EST but logs in very late. 3. Although I work in the B shift, I often extend until 1 AM because I am preparing all the PPTs and doing research. I have to explain everything I do daily for 2-3 hours. She schedules meetings during the PST afternoon to present that work. 4. It has been 2 months of the same routine. In every weekly stand-up, she gets appreciation as if she did the work and research, without giving me any credit. 5. I can escalate the issue, but no one will listen because she has been here for 12 years, whereas I joined a year ago. She has strong networking with the leadership, which I lack. 6. I can ask for release, but I like this project and have provided solutions for some challenging gaps. I feel very bad because I work for 16-18 hours per day. She could schedule the meeting in the PST morning, but she purposely schedules it in the PST afternoon and gets the credit for my work. PS: i saw her creating a transcript to read during the meeting Do people like this really exist? If you have personal commitments, why come to work? Don’t you have a conscience and feel guilty about stealing credit for others’ work? Nowadays, there are many posts related to stopping gender-based reservations. Is it because of situations like this?

I have a colleague who is terribly inefficient at work. She breaks the code all the time and her code throws runtime errors all the time. While I do my due diligence during code reviews, it’s hard for me to justify it all the time. Most of the time, I end up fixing her issues. I do communicate the scope of improvement every time I review her code and add a dozens of basic review comments. While she does fix the issues, she doesn’t follow basic rules. I expect better from her being 11-12 years experienced software engineer. Having said that, she speaks to me nicely and she is always friendly with the team. I have given her feedback multiple times in a friendly manner and she does seem to take it positive. But I don’t see that getting reflected in her work. She keeps repeating the same mistakes. She simply doesn’t think the big picture while coding. Applies point fix and makes it work temporarily, screwing the other features of application. My manager is overly chilled guy. He hardly cares about my code or her code. He doesn’t understand any code and talking to him in a technical language is a waste of time. Even if we encounter a production issue, my manager doesn’t show any signs of concerns. How do I deal with this situation?

I was hired as a front end intern starting from june1 but all they give Me is copy paste work If I resign now will I get my stipend . There is nothing to learn for me in this company

I'm interning at a startup. My manager gave me this task I'm trying all my best efforts to do it. But I'm not getting a solution for this I'm becoming mentally ill because of this Is it okay say that I can't do this anymore??

Just wondering if there are any interesting stories around this? Like I know one senior who is pretty important for a project so he takes his manager very lightly. Once the manager escorted him to a meeting room and kind of gave serious warnings. Worked only for a while I guess.

Hello guys, I am fresher in this corporate world and a question is stuck in my mind. What if I got some task and I spent numerous hours still not able to complete it then what should I do ??

So I'm an intern at this bootstrapped startup which is doing really good (touchwood). Three months into my joining, everything was hunky dory but lately my manager has turned less friendly. She points out little mistakes, asked me to create reports on things that went wrong, uses aggressive language on common slack channels. I'm really not sure what I've done to **** her off. Yes I did make a couple of mistakes here and there but I put in my 100% effort to see them fixed and talk to her nicely and respectfully. I'm lost. I also think if this will hurt my PPO chances :( I want to know if this is okay and me working extra hard will solve this or should i do something else about this?

I was currently in a project with no proper planning and the majority of the code written by team mates are full of bugs. The code is being written for a new application not yet deployed or in the testing stage so no way of knowing the bugs. If I point out the bugs I end up fixing them and it is getting really frustrating. But I can't just look away. I'm 💯 sure this application won't even work. Should I just ignore and continue my work?

So thing is In last 1 week my manager/project lead has been threating that you will have to work on weekend if you dont complete your task by friday and put the the task to testing. And this boils my blood soo damnn much . But as a person who is on lowest level i cant do/say shit. I just disagree with him and dont argue. What would you have done .[ practical advice only] And thing is i do all my dev work on time even earlier almost everytime and he just goes around and threatens everyone with this. Soo annoying thay dumbfk needs to get rekt .

I have a senior in my team who considers herself a manager, when she's not. She's just my senior. She will ping me 100 times in a day and delegate me more tasks before even before the first one is complete. She knows nothing about how work is done as she keeps delegating it to others. If I don't respond she keeps calling and she calls me in the middle of the night too. I have a really cool manager who doesn't ping me daily, will only ask for the deliverables on the deadline. I would have ignored my senior as she's not really the manager but she is the manager's pet. I have seen her delegate tasks to her seniors as well. It's been only a month since I have joined. Any advice on how do I deal with this? It's getting really frustrating.
