Databases for startup research

What are some relevant websites/sources to track some growing startups, which are doing series A,B funding in india or even across the globe

Hey all👋 I am trying to write a research paper on StartUps. (topic is not fixed yet). What would be a recommended platform get details of the Startups? (For ex: Funding, Employee strength) . Not looking for accurate information but just an outline would be enough. Currently using Tracxn and Crunchbase.

I am on the lookout for remote jobs at budding startups. I know Crunchbase is probably the best option, but they require you to pay the complete 1-year fees, which would be rs 25k+. I want to learn if there are other similar platforms that might be free or maybe charged on a monthly basis.

Please suggest free alternatives to Crunchbase and Tracxn to discover companies and startups. The above two have very limited search listing for free users. Any other ways to discover companies would also be helpful.

I work for a capital venture, and I wanna know where do I find leads (recent Indian startups and their valuation and other info) for my company without the help of platforms like crunch base, tracxn and other websites like these.

I want to find seed stage startups to join as a founding engineer. I want to take some risk while I can and try if I can get a good return. How should I go about this? I have 7 years of experience. Building distributed systems, backend services with Go, Clojure, etc. I have some frontend experience as well with SvelteKit, Tailwind, etc. I also made a SaaS product recently and got around 10 small businesses as customers on subscription. The product itself got acquired for 5 figures USD after I ran it for 2 months

I’m looking to switch to B2C FinTech startups in India with good product and team! Do suggest if you know which one are those A quick background: founding product and business lead at web3 stealth startup, before worked in web2 FinTech

I've been curious about whether there are any good Indian startups in the AI field that are not building "tools" like meeting summary or anything of that sort. But more like research based such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Midjourney, etc. They could be early stage or late stage, doesn't matter. Have you guys seen any around you with potential?

Does anybody have a PDF or any list of startup companies in Bangalore which is basically Serviced based or Product based.
