I’m confused what is the best in recents time AI engineer job or data scientist jobs

I am a software engineer with 11 months of experience. I have no interest in testing field and wanted to work in development roles from the start but my org forced me to work as an integration tester. Now I am planning to upskill and jump. I have great interest in cloud field and believe that it is an emerging field, but I am told that AI/Gen AI is also very good field to go in. Although l don't have any particular interest in AI and always thought that it is not easy to get good paying AI related jobs for beginners like me, I am ready to pursue, if told otherwise. Please give me some advice/guidance as to which field I should choose as a fresher that has good learning and future scope and pays good. Any advice/guidance is appreciated 🙂.

A lot of noise around AI taking coding jobs, which i fear might be real. Like not completely but you get my point. So how should one upskill themselves (especially the average folks, top 1/2% will not be affected in any field imo) for the upcoming shift? Like will data analytics/science or maybe ai/ml engineering jobs be on rise ? Should be start upskilling in those fields or any other suggestions? I would really like to know it from someone who has good experience in the industry or someone with good insight. Thanks

Hello everyone.. can anyone suggest some tech related IT domain in which I can enter as a fresher .. basically I am not a fresher I have 2 years of gap I am 2021 mech passout.. I have knowledge of advanced SQL, intermediate python, basics of c/c++ ,Excel,POWER BI .. please suggest some domains other than data analytics it's very crowded there...and as I am having difficulties getting a decent or tech related job .. I am a fresher working as a Data analyst in a growing startup. My current role doesn't include much of coding just python and SQL and sometimes little bit ML work. Currently handling 2 projects, and some of PM work to define some roadmaps. I like engineering and coding in whole and want to know more. So do I switch to some SDE role or is there are more paths after Data analytics? I know ML, DL and NLP but not sure will it be a great choice to make career primarily in Data science. So, I am little confused. Please give all good advices. Thanks A curious Engineer
