Paying exorbitant salaries was going to bite them sooner or later, feel sad for those who will loose their jobs. But again have come across ppl who were paid insanely and were laid off not wanting to take a pay cut and join somewhere, infact they will ask more than what was their inflated last drawn salary. Not willing to realise the harsh reality of the current situation.

Due to these fraud firms, Genuine entrepreneurs will struggle in future.
EdTech pov - Instead of solving problems, they created newer ones.
Meanwhile they still hiring freshers for bda role at colleges for 2024 batch, it's completely joke of a company.

Already a whole lot of people were laid off at upGrad while Arjun was CEO
Which firm will absorb these employees?
As unicorn 🦄 in India are mostly loss making ones.
And ebitda +ve and IPO pressure is at all time high from VC and Partners.
