What is expected from a 3YOE Engineer?

Hey Everyone, I am a 3YoE backend developer with little AI role and web development experience in the industry and I wanted to grow my career as more like an ✨Elite Engineer✨ who not just builds stuff but optimizes it to the core, oversees the future bottlenecks, the alternative approaches blah blah and you get the point. But the problem is that my learning is all over places. Please suggest/ guide you to be that ✨Elite Engineer✨ if you can. I want to continue to be a backend engineer (no more switching domain) Disclaimer: I don’t want to do it because of the money (of course I need a future) but to have a solid understanding of it (it would be great if I end up as SDE)

If you were to hire a Software Engineer, Full Stack with 4 YOE. What would be your expectations out of them? What kind of technical and soft skills are you looking for in them?

What do u think the career trajectory will be for Native Mobile developers after 4-5 Years of experience? ( Android/Ios) Personally I think there are less senior/staff roles in india unless we pivot to BE or people roles we will not have an uptrend in our career. And what do u think about Hybrid frameworks ( like RN and Flutter) ? should we adopt them ASAP ? or not required to grow in the career ladder ? ( Please add YOE while answering It helps to see how early devs vs Exp devs think )

and are thus often rejected before interview itself?

Hey everyone, I'd like to hear your thoughts. Have any of you successfully aced an interview solely through tutorials, YouTube, or side projects without hands-on work experience? I am a SDET exploring a transition to SDE role, internally tried within my company ,not happening due to various reasons, hence trying to switch over. In order to achieve that, I've worked on full-stack sidd projects, practiced DSA, and made a good "tailored" CV that gets me interview calls. But I am currently facing mixed experiences in interviews. I am able to answer a few but struggle with some questions and seek advice on how to improve. Any suggestions for this career switch are greatly appreciated! Thanks a ton

Swiggy has become a toxic Ex for me now and there is no time to think about it at this point (for me atleast) I need to get back on my feet soon (sole earner in my family) and need some help. It has been a really long time since I prepared and stepped out there, so need some help in knowing what's going on out there. It would be great if someone can help with these: 1. Any interview resources I can start with 2. What all things I need/should prepare for 3. Any tips and tricks for the interview preparation I think it will be a lot of help for me and others too who are in the same boat. I was an SDE2 here and thinking of stepping up to SDE3 as well but right now even an SDE2 role would suffice. So will prepare accordingly

I got bored with the monotonous devops job at my organisation , got stagnated with the skill of Kubernetes and feels struck More scope of work by continuing 3yr exp as devops or entering into development from scratch I couldn’t able to forecast my future and carrer growth in devops . Hey folks, I am serving my NP. I am a full stack dev with expertise in JavaScript + Angular, Node.js, Express.js(MEAN tech stack) with good problem solving skills coupled with automation experience too(BDD, cucumber) Now when I go thru various company career pages/portals i get to see a lot of openings for Sr. Software engineer i.e. 3+YOE or Java related guys. I am not able to find/very less opening for software engineer roles(that too for JavaScript based) What can be done? How to optimize my job search, plz share in your inputs.
