Don't be foolish. Correct your headline, this is a government fault not Google maps. They saw the route in maps(it's not even the maps suggested route, they choose this as a shortcut) and drove but it's the govt responsibility to seize the entrance of the bridge since it is not completed.

So apparently Google Maps didn't lead them on the bridge, they chose the shortcut. However, the road to bridge did not show as bridge on Google. It shows a normal road
