Need guidance

I'm a final year Btech student, I got selected in virtusa, LTIMindtree and dxc at the package of 5.5, 4 and 4.2 My friends are doing internships at good companies and I'm just looking for better opportunities. I have a knowledge of core java, and basic dsa. What should I do to go to product based companies? Should I prepare dsa, or do j2ee or switch to react and nodejs or something else?

I have completed my B. Tech few days ago. Working in a small startup for 3lpa and I am not getting any projects to work. Initially I was trained to work in spring boot . Now they are told to learn devops and so I learnt them and now I'm not have any work related to cloud also.Sitting simply throughout the day. I have joined the company as intern in july 2023. Any Guidance what to do what to learn. I'm currently learning DSA. I have knowledge in spring boot, AWS and some devops concept.

( RANT ) Currently in my 2nd year of engineering in a good college in Bangalore . I am worrying a lot about career , my day starts with thinking about interships, skills, studies and ends with which career to pursue , startups / big MNC . All my day I am worrying. I know this should not be the case but I can't help , nobody around me are thinking about future, I can't discuss with anyone, they just chill and enjoy. Has they are from CS / EC , there placements are secured which is not the case with me. I know I should be focused on CGPA and skills ,but these thoughts scare me a lot , I don't know where should I focus on , which direction I should start working, no guidance, nothing. like this only 2022 passed. I have plans to pursue MBA . How to stop worrying

Hey , I'm Btech CSE graduate from PTU Jalandhar ( completed in sept 2022) after that worked for 5-6 months as data analyst ( non - tech field ) and from there onwards did nothing for a year due to hiring freeze , joinings revoked in TCS Infosys. as I was less skilled in coding n all that time so not eligible for big companies and layoffs happening since then. And , now I know HTML CSS JS REACT SQL C++ Basic DSA, git .OOPS DBMS So, Please guide me how to find a job in these times .(considering a year gap also ). I'm in fear and anxiety.

I am a student doing my internship at a startup in Bangalore. I get paid very less. I want to join a product based company. I didn't do much of either competitive programming or DSA. Currently i am learning DSA and planning to start Competitive programming to crack product companies. But i am confused is this right or should I follow some other paths?? Can anyone help me with this🥲

Hii all I joined Infosys 6 month back but I didn't get any project yet also got training in testing but somehow I'm interested in math and Data science. I'm getting little bit confuse about my career. I would love to hear some suggestion to clear my confusion.

I am a JAVA backend dev, currently in TCS with 5.5 yrs of exp. I want to switch to a Product now. My dev skills are good. I have worked in few projects. With this many years of exp, the expectations are too high now, System Design, Kafka, Jenkins, Docker and DSA on top of that. I don't know how to start, once I start preparing DSA I feel like I am missing on reading system design and other stuff. Also, I don't feel confident about my DSA skills. Are there any devs here who were very bad in DSA but are very confident now. Please share your experiences in comments. Since I already have so many years of exp, this is my last chance to switch to a good product company. Please guide.

I have 3 yrs of experience after my graduation, 8 months of backend experience and from past 2.4 months I am into frontend project. Now I'm planning to switch trying to start preparation. I have ready with DSA rounds , coming with system design rounds I have a confusion. Should I need to prepare for frontend or backend system design topics If I joined in another company should i start my carrer as a sde2 or sde1. If i join for SDE2 position can i catch backend to team standard.

Hey everyone, I am a final year B.tech student. Currently I don't have a job and to be honest I haven't done that much DSA to get a job, so its a request from you guys to help me out that is it too late to start now? I know I am responsible for this thing but I can't sit disheartened and not do anything I still have time till june untill I graduate. Can you guys help me find a path and consistency to get a job as a SDE. I have very less DSA knowledge just know the basics which isn't enough but I am now practicing and learning daily to skill up, will I be able to learn that much to get a job or internship till june. If you guys have opening in your company maybe you can give me a referral or something I have the willingness and motivation to do something and learn also I have a strong resume and internship experience in a big company.

My younger bro is currently in his 3rd yr at NSUT Delhi. He has been learning front end for a good while. And is now also learning AI/ML. All his prep went into vain due to poor internship placements. He is now very underconfident about interning off campus and wants to directly sit for main placements. My understanding is that it’s critical to have a good brand internship and a PPO from them preferably. This worked for me as a non-techie so could be a bias. But if you or anyone you know has been through this journey, kindly suggest what should be the ideal way forward?
