Has anyone availed Loans against mutual funds?

I recently came across one of the videos on YouTube that talked about Loans against mutual funds.- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lK7KuMzRm8U&t=3s Overall this product looks very convincing & it is so true that people sell their mutual funds when they require funds to make a downpayment on a House/Car. The ROI is so low & this is an Overdraft, so no foreclosure fees for this loan & the best part? The process is super smooth of few platforms like Volt Money. I am convinced that it's a good product & want to avail for some personal reason. Want to check if anyone has used this & they are also positive about loans against mutual funds?

Hi , I saw the interest rate they are charging, around 11% , how would the math pan out if I give 11% interest rate, when home loan comes at a rate of say 9%

Agree, but I was just thinking that how many people would be actually there who would need personal loan against mutual fund Corpus, apart from an emergency what other case could be there

I don't know the terms. 1. Generally, LAS/MF shud require that the said shares or MFs be in demat form where we can pledge it as collateral. Direct MFs with the AMC, would these work? 2. Apart from interest, What are the fees charged and haircut? Lookout if those are If those are too steep. For SBI Loan against mfs, they only allowed sbimf funds and charge a steep haircut on Equity funds.

Hey folks! I saw slice ad saying they are offering some upto 5 l interest free loan. Checking that out. But what companies are offering loan at some extremely low interest rates? I am assuming banks would charge a premium vs the tech companies. I am looking for some 2-4l loan purely because I can earn more via trading than the interests I'd pay for loan.

Taking Loan against property to invest in stock

I was thinking to leverage my parents home and take out chunky 1 cr @8.6% with premise to make 15%+ in direct equity and mfs. Asset belong to my parents with some contribution from me. I feel this is a relatively low cost capital way to get initial corpus and in long run gains will payback principal. I am earning well enough to payback 0.5-1 lpm worth of emis annually Does this sound as a wise plan?

I started investing last year in a few mutual funds after cancelling all my lic. I got term insurance too. What's the best way to review the performance of my mutual funds? I tried talking to some finance advisors but they want me to terminate all my direct mutual funds and start with them. Not sure what is the best way forward? Can someone help with some pointers on the basis of which i can decide if they are providing properly or not?
