We Indians should to stop this BS of respecting elders based on their age. Parents, Teachers and Relatives are known to manipulate kids and sometimes making sure those kids don't get ahead in life. 
  
 I know some Nana and Nanis who would talk very sweetly, ask for money never to return it back.
