4132% return in 20y - Blue Chip firm

When I look back and compare my father's investment in real estate and gold, TCS still beats those with a margin.

Blue Chip Stocks are 💎 if business model is good and leadership is capable enough.

There is a limitation to how much a business can grow. Businesses like HDFC B, D mart , ITC, many others as well. They cannot outgrow the economy. Now these can be a consistent compounder, they cannot be a multibagger. One has to look at what can move next or where the growth lies.

Holding nerves in stock market during 1992 in itself was an achievement. Just look at the Japanese stock market.

Hindsights are good as past records tell us a lot, but not necessarily be true always. Hence, I believe a single asset class can become risky.

We should not compare the Indian economy to that of Japan.

India is itself a very different and diverse market.

In covid, we saw how agriculture saved us.

When bull run, IT drives the growth.

Formal and informal economy goes hand in hand.

Our market will perform better for next 2-3 decades atleast, keeping in mind the demographic dividend, consumption etc

Japanese were way ahead of world in productivity still they went through boom, bust cycles. All I am saying is hedging across classes is the only best-way of wealth creation.
Real estate pockets(NCR, Bengaluru)have given real best returns compared to any stock.
