What are ESARs and Phantom Stocks?
Got offered ESARs as increments were barely double digits this year. The company had also provided phantom stocks when I joined the organization. The company is a series A startup. Are they valuable? How does vesting works in both cases. YoE - 3
They’re both synthetics and provide you zero ownership for the work you do just increment as per company’s valuation movements.
You’ll not get huge exit if company is acquired for a sum.

Do they multiply as per the valuation or can they be diluted?
Both if startup increases shares then dilution if not then you need to figure out exercise price and your vesting. Read your TOS once they’ll have a formula there for calculating what you receive
