Secret of success in corporate life

after 4 years of experience in corporate life i came to realize that if you want to get promoted and get max visibility then don't solve any issue on your own. Which means if you find some bug/issue which might become a big issue then don't solve it silently and expect others to appreciate you for it later on, they don't know the impact of the bug, you won't get enough appreciation Present it, involve your manager, involve his manager, involve other managers. Let it become a big issue, only then you will get credit for finding the bug and also for coming up with the solution. People don't respect those who avoid bugs, but those who solve bugs.
