Career guidance for a switch into Data Analytics

Hi! I'm a CA Inter pass out with about 7 years work ex. I have worked in fields such as Accounting, Audit, Taxation, Compliance and Reporting. And i for a fair fact also believe i have a thing for Data analytics. I get too excited when i have to work with large chunks of data on a spreadsheet to formulate results out of it. I want to get into Data Analytics. How do I go about it ? I have been learning R and Python at a slow pace. Suggestions and inputs are most welcome.
