How GV team decided on the current UX(iOS)?

Can someone from GV team tell me why there are points to post of GV 1. FAB 2. At the top, which looks like search bar to me Can you share some insights on this decision or some data, what’s the CTR on this and how it’s performing?

Hey Folks, We recently launched LOTS of new features: 1. Nested Comments and Collapsible comments 2. New Feed design 3. New Communities 4. Discover More (Gives you more similar posts) 5. Newer Fonts 6. Color adjustments to light and dark mode Lots of other smaller things here and there as well. I'd love your feedback on any thing that we can do to improve your GV experience P.S we are also going to launch 3 'very big' feartures within the next 6 weeks, so do stay tuned for that.

I currently want to transition from middleware System Engineer to UX Engineer . I have done some front-end development in past . Will brush up the basics and probably learn some framework. I wanted to know what are the things I should learn and master if I want to become a UX Engineer (design + some development) . A roadmap would be really beneficial in keeping track of things . If there is anyone here who transitioned to UX from development side , what is the roadmap you followed? Would love to know insights from grapevine design community ! Thank You
