Ratings not revealed during appraisal. A scam?
People in my organization recently went through performance appraisal and like every time, the manager does not reveal employees’ rating. This is most likely a scam as the employees are rated and the ratings are recorded in the system but not revealed. Is it how we have in other organizations? Add your comments.
This happens in my previous org, 1 lakh+ employee big company. This is a perfect scam to promote women, chatukar and diversity hire.

Women being preferred promotion candidates? Do share the company name. They should get some nice PR out of this.

This is new! Most likely a scam, unless the headcount is less than 20

It's about time we start naming such organisations with opaque processes . Share company name if it seems comfortable to you.
There is no system of rating in my company. We are asked to rate our reporting managers and I believe they are asked to do the same but it is never revealed.
Most likely bad and opaque review process. Speaks a lot about the culture. Ask the HR why the policy is like this. If you don’t get a good answer, you know they are not interested in transparency.
