E-Com Startup $300 million fund raise

I'm a Product Manager at a SaaS firm drawing in a CTC of about 18-20 LPA. I'm 22 years old. Is this the standard in the industry?

Today raised $22m series B. No revenue. Video streaming app with Less than 1m daily users in india is valued over $100m... So every random person in india is worth over $100? Lol. Competition, Chingari, Rooter, both in trouble. Eloelo has worse engagement than both (I looked on data.ai) Definitely faking numbers to investors, why else would anyone invest.

Team is less than 10 people still, slowly growing. Net profit could be higher, that's top priority to work on now. Total cash invested by founders was 15L over 3-4 years. Yearly revenue : 2019 - less than 30k 20 - 1.5L (after pivot) 22 - 50L Getting to the first lakh and then to 10 lakhs was probably the most challenging part. We thought of shutting down multiple times, struggled through multiple fights between founders. Glad we didn't stop working and pulled through. This is my 4th or 5th attempt at starting up. Except for 1, other attempts didn't even get to incorporation stage. Would love to hear from other bootstrappers and their experience.

This is just a prediction based on what I've been observing recently. Founder is publishing a lot of self ego boosting articles and aggressively hiring currently. This has been going on for quite some time and they recently did some layoffs too! These are some of the early signs when things start to go wrong. Not sure about their numbers. And even though Indians really love gold it's not an investment. It's a hedge. Let's see what happens in the next 12 months.
