🐙 Octopus

Lol @Puchka thanks for the free subscription :P I knew most of this about octopuses except their mating process... poor males cannibalized?! It's kinda freakish and sad. Sad from a human perspective though, maybe the octopuses are into it :P I know about at least 2 other species who have a similar destructive mating process, the anglerfish and the praying mantis. Kinda fucked up imo, but would be fun to find out how this process evolved. Check out My Octopus Teacher on Netflix, I've heard it's worth watching.
