5yrs experience, B2B SaaS, 25LPA?

I was interviewing a candidate with 5yrs of experience in B2B SaaS marketing. He seemed to be an okay candidate, his demand was 25LPA.

His package seemed to be a bit high for the knowledge he holds. He said that's market standard. I am not sure.

Is he fair in asking 25LPA?

That’s pretty standard for Bangalore. Especially when it’s B2B SaaS marketing. However, what role is it exactly?

Sounds fair, but do check how many job switches have they had in the past 5 years. If it’s more than 2, then ideally they kept moving upwards in terms of pay range. If it’s less than 2, you’ll probably have better chance negotiating around 21-23L.

Is my Salary too low?

I've been into B2B SaaS for 2 and a half years now. I'm 24.

I make 1.25l/m.

Is my Salary in the optimum range for Sal vs YOE?
