Analyst at big4

I've been working as a Software developer with a total of 2.5 years of exp in an MNC. I want to explore other areas like consulting. Can y'all suggest how I can get started and would I be a fool to try applying to the Big4? Also let me know if the whole shebang about consultants getting to travel more true or it depends on other factors??

However I would like to explore more since this didn't catch my interest and the work life balance is shit!!! So I am planning to get a certification of Business Analytics. I'm a data analyst with 3+ YOE and want to connect with fellow analysts to know more about what kind of work they do and skills they use daily. I've been a part of the AIM community but it's full of spams usually. Anything else apart from it? In my last job I felt like I haven't grown at all in terms of skills. I'm currently giving interviews for SBA/LBA roles but not able to ace them. Also it would be helpful if someone could share some resources to practice the analytics case study questions. Thanks!

Hi guys, I've been working since the last 1.5 years as a customer service & operations analyst ( similar to process analyst/ operations analyst etc. ) in Retail Banking Ops and would like to upskill and switch to better roles ( where productivity and performance is not quantitative but qualitative as well). My target roles/job profiles are those where BAU is not confined strictly to copy paste tasks but stimulates intellect. Would appreciate suggestions/certifications / courses which will make my resume strong { strong enough to apply in mid-career roles in investment banks( for example JP Morgan), AMCs (BlackRock), audit firms (KPMG), financial services ( AmEx), banks with GCCs in India ( NAB ) } Thanks in advance.
