Borrowing money from Slice

Has anyone ever used Slice for borrowing money ? Many students of our college borrow money from Slice just for entertainment to spend in bars and restaurants. One of my friends used to borrow money for Futures and Options trading in Stock Market but now he's in huge debt.

I tried Paytm payments Bank but payment options were fairly limited. Deactivated after a few months. Has anyone tried this one? Is there even a point to such loans apart from emi/big purchases?

I want to refer my younger brother to Slice or PhonePe for Analytics role. He is from BITS Pilani, and working at Groww for past 1+year and very smart. He wants to join Slice or PhonePe only. What's up with SLICE ???

Got an offer from them 6 months ago . Didn't join as their business didn't look sound . They said to me that they are building a UPI app I was like phonpe & paytm are already there na ! I expected some layoffs from slice as they were giving pretty high packages and a lot of over hiring. But surprisingly I didn't hear anything like that even though many start-ups which have stronger business models than slice are laying off.
