Getting a remote job as a Product Designer for a US company

Heard a lot of people getting jobs that pay $100,000+ working remotely as a Product Designer for US based companies. Is this true? If so, does anyone have tips on how to get started? There’s a few resources I found for engineers but not for Designers

It's super rare from what I know. The only person I know got it because she's worked at start-up incredibly similar to the one in US.

How to find high value design projects?

I have a good portfolio and have worked with a few amazing clients in India. But recently I got to know that designers in my circles are making 2/3x of what I'm making. This is because they are working with US clientele. Does anyone here have an idea of how to get $100 per hour projects? I see scaling in upwork very time taking and a lot of effort. Any other way?

Should i be a UI design expert to get into good product based companies as a product designer

Hey guys, I'm working as a UX designer in an Design agency. So over there i used to work from research till wireframes for each projects, like i don't have hands on experience doing the UI part. Is it okay if i just learn how to design stuffs using existing design systems? And also could anyone suggest me some good companies which have good design culture in hyderabad or remote!
