Final year student Seeking advice

I’m a upcoming 4th year Integrated msc chemistry(5 year) student from NIT Warangal and I have an exit option after 4th year also, i.e with the bachelors degree and as of now I have decided to go with this. But the major concern for me is that my college won’t be allowing me for the campus placement. How and when should I start reaching out for off-campus Product/Analyst roles? I was thinking of reaching out to campus recruiters from companies that hire from my college and other colleges, Will that work?

Currently I am in my second year from a Tier 3 college. On campus placements at my college for the 2024 batch is really worse. Few companies are hiring for sales roles etc. and most of them are putting tough eligibility criteria and hiring only few. To be very honest, I have no hopes from on campus placements. I am going for the off campus route. What should I do to get a decent intern in third year/fourth year and a decent job by the time of graduation? Talking about my progress, I am doing DSA, taking part in contests in Codechef, Codeforces, and Leetcode. Besides that I have started learning Machine Learning. Have done only the Math part and basics though still now. Been to 2 offline hackathons.

Hi folks, I got laid off in Sept. since then looking for a Job. market is so scary. Few questions: 1. a lot of companies are hiring through crewscale, etc. they are offering low salary as per the role. are companies paying low salary to them or they are taking a big cut? do people treat them differently once they join a company via crewscale? 2. I am not able to get my resume shortlist for mncs. what to do now? recently my friend got a call from razorpay gehy were offering for sde role 15 lakh for 2 years experienced. they were paying 22 lakh for sde 1 last year. the role is not product engg or solution ennggg that they recently introduced for low salary. it was sde role. fat rhi h ab. kya kru?????? my exp: 2.5 backend

Hi, I’m currently a final year CSE student pursuing my 6-month internship at Amazon. I don’t know if I’ll get PPO after my internship or not. Heard that our seniors from the 2023 batch were not offered PPOs after their 6-month internships. Would want your views on if I should start applying to other companies on the side as a plan B. Also, on-campus placements at my college aren’t looking that good this year in terms of the packages being offered. I’m looking for any off-campus openings for the role of an SDE at the moment, if any. International roles are welcome.

I'm about to graduate in 2023 and I have a decent offer on campus, but I'm thinking of looking for better opportunities, mostly because of location reasons. Should I apply in March/April, since I can't immediately join? Is the market conducive for entry level SDE roles? Any other tips? Thanks!

I am graduating in 2024 and looking for joining entry level product/business analyst roles . I am wondering when the things will get normalise and hiring frequency will become normal as most of the students even from IITs and other premium institutes are finding it hard to bag jobs unlike in past years , what should I do being a tier 3 college student having a mechanical engineering background who wants to switch to product/biztech roles , i am planning to puruse MIM abroad after 2 years , will I face any difficulties in finding jobs in European regions if target hec Paris/LBS OR INSEAD FRANCE OR ESSEC
