Going for my first US (SF) business visit

One of my friends is coming from the US. Except iPhone can someone suggest items which are less than 10k or 20k INR that he can buy from US. Suggestions for electronics, winter jackets, shoes and more are welcome. Just looking for cheap items that are costly in India but cheap there.

I don't buy Apple products but some electronics are way cheaper there that I'd like to explore, like a good quality fitness tracker for dad. Would it be possible to hunt for jobs/consulting gigs while I'm there on a tourist visa? Visiting SF would be impossible, I'm mostly restricted to Michigan and the trip is going to be 2-3 weeks max. Any other suggestions? Advice? I'm visiting after more than a decade (last visit pre 9/11), has anything changed significantly that I should keep in mind?

Will buying an iPhone from the US really save money, then buying it from India?

Hi everyone, my friends are going to the US and I wanted to buy MacBook there and then they will bring it back to India. I had read that it cheaper that way, but I am not sure by how much? I think it is cheaper than the student pricing here. Should they just buy it in an Apple Store? And any other thing that I should aware about the purchase? Thanks!

Hey guys, Wanted to know your opinions and if someone has walked similar path before. I am in infrastructure engineering domain, want to transition into core backend with full stack. I have roamed around abroad and found really great quality of life - 1. Food quality is damn good! 2. Spending power when you travel with that currency to other parts of the world 3. Disciplined 4. Power of people, where the rules are same for all. You are just as powerful or weak as a politician in regards to upholding the law. I like these concepts and want to explore living abroad, learning cultures, traditions and people. I was thinking of getting into a Europe based company(understand the pay would be less but I get to roam EU countries with better work life balance) for my backend role and leave my current job to prepare for it as my entire day is sucked off by this current high paying job and it's not fun anymore Thoughts? Tldr - Not happy with my current life sucking role at startup. Have experienced better life abroad as a tourist. Want to switch to a job abroad and experience customs, traditions, people, culture, languages!
