Hey guy need your insights on if a person wants to Settle is pune how it is

Hello mates,I am from Gujarat and currently working in Deloitte pune in Technology Consulting, planning to buy a property in Pune, in terms of settling down which city is better Pune or Bangalore from career perspective and better social life? Will I miss out on something major if I don't explore Bangalore market ? Need some suggestions from people who have been to both the cities.

I have gotten an offer for Pwc Pune and have to negotiate for salary. How is the city, in terms of career growth and acceptance? Are the living conditions bad? Are the people mostly local or are there people from outside as well? I practically know no one there. Any tips, warnings or advice?

From long term perspective ( for next 20 to 30 years) Which city will offer better job prospects ( IT/Software Development/Product Management/Strategy related jobs) along with a decent life style supported by satisfactory amenities like Gated housing options which are not super expensive, Good schooling options for kids, Decent commuting facilities like Metro, wide roads etc. Interested to hear feedback from folks who went through or going through this dilemma.

I am planning to switch jobs and I prefer tier 1 cities. I am from north india. I prefer Pune and Bangalore for my next job. Need advice from someone living in Pune. How is life ? Is it a safe city in terms of crime rates ? How are local people and communities there ?

I have spent most of my working life (about 17 years) in Pune barring a few years outside India for an onsite assignment. During the initial phase of my career I was always desperate to relocate to NCR which is close to my hometown, say 12 hrs by train or road, unlike 24-36 hrs from Pune. However I feel a bit confused now about it. I am not sure how easy/difficult and stupid/wise it would be to make a move now. Any suggestions feedback?

Does moving to pune for job is good option,being a fresher (4th yr going on) in current scenarios for sde role. And does there any possibility of walk in drives in Pune?

Which is the best place to live in among these two ?
