Udaan raises $340Mn! How did they manage this? Anybody knows the exact specifics?
The picture isn't as rosy as this headline makes it seem. Basis what I hear, 50-60% drop in valuation. Their last valuation was ~$3Bn so now more like in the $1-1.5Bn range.

Great to know that Udaan will live on. Have two friends working there and honestly $340M should be runway for a very long time
Fresh raise is 140 million only. Balance is debt money already spent and now being converted from debt to equity

Atleast half of it is the converting past debt into equity. So essentially that amount is already invested and burned in past.

Mix of fresh equity (new money coming in) and conversion of existing debt to equity (means they already took this money as loan in the past and probably made a deal with debtors for better cash flow).
