CISCO Layoff
Is it true that CISCO is going to lay off 7% of its employees? Why are there so many layoffs happening in these times? Is technology taking our jobs?

Like many other companies, CISCO has also decided to reduce its workforce. Recently it was announced that CISCO will undergo a restructuring plan and lay off its employees. According to the news, more than 5000 employees will become jobless. This action marks CISCO’s second round of layoffs in 2024 which is a huge setback. Earlier, the company laid off 4000 employees. These layoffs have taken place or will take place because of the shift toward technology. With technology, there’s an increase in production with faster time which made expenses cheaper.
