Spending time in WFH
I shifted back to my home after having a happening life for 1 year. My main motivation for wfh was living with my parents as they are getting old, and having time for myself. Now I have time but I just waste it away in OTT and social media. What can I do to be productive? How can I start learning something new or work on a side project? How do I break the wheel of comfort and start?
Firstly, kudos for making to move back to home and being back with your parents.
Just practice mindfulness. Maybe try to create a habit of meditation/breathwork - it really helped me appreciate whatever I was doing more. Even if watching an OTT, it helps to be conscious about that decision, and just enjoy that time. With social media, just knowing that you're on your 100th reel, and your brain is a potato by now.
Maybe start with mindfulness and exercise :)

I was wasting time then also. It involved meeting friends, going on short trips around the city. At least at the end of the day I was satisfied. Now I am not even satisfied
Find what satisfied u and try to get that in ur current place otherwise change what should be meaningful to u. Your satisfaction should not be tied to a certain set of behavior. Sure productivity will give u sense of fulfilment but u can’t always be productive. Go do exercise or join a group that keeps u accountable for making progress on xyz thing u think would help you.
