Is starting up a mistake?
I’ve heard many stories of founders going through tough times, lack of salary, constant pressure from investors. Lot of hype around starting up but maybe a stable job is better?
Startup —> high risk, high reward
Job —> medium risk(now), medium reward (if you are good)/ low reward (if you’re average)
Choose yourself.

Good explanation but there are more factors at play.
Even average founders do well in great markets. If you can time market cycles well, you're golden.

If things pan out you might have a flat in worli in a couple of years.
If things dont pan out you can still have that worli flat in your dreams.

The first huddle is getting off the addiction and safety net of a salary. Create a corpus which allows you to sustain for a year or two without any salary.
If you really want to do it, every challenge will seem acceptable else it will seem like a blocker. Working at an early stage startup is good way to figure out if you are ready for it.
