I just received a call from Accenture HR stating that they want to take my first interview again since the one they took on 26 aug wasn't recorded.

I just received a call from Accenture HR stating that they want to take my first interview again since the one they took on 26 aug wasn't recorded. Is this just a gimmick or should be considered genuine request? Any comments on this would be appreciated.
