Getting tensed looking at my career graph.
I started my Career in June 2018 and have switched 2 companies as of now. It's been 5 years but I haven't seen a single promotion so far. But when I look at people on LinkedIn they are team leaders now. And this is impacting my mental health as well. When I am back at home i still can get this fact out of my head.
Be calm. Don’t let such things bother you. Bamboo shoots take years to sprout and then grow overnight .
I have had my first corporate promotion 6 years into my career and then I have had 2 of them in last 2 years :)
If you are learning and growing in your current role - monetarily as well - be calm . You will be just fine :)
Hey, if you don't mind my asking, how did you keep calm during those years. And congratulations on your recent promotions.
Did you get the last 2 promotions in the same company ? Also did you switch and if yes then how many
Had faith in my capabilities. Plus I had continuously been a top performer. Also, I had a good manager who would continuously give me feedback

Don't worry, I have about promtion and title, I've 6+ yoe, working for my 4th company, 0 promotion. I'm doing great learning wise and monetarily as well. Will try to get one promotion in next 2-3 years.
Career journey is a marathon not a sprint. We are taught to be homogeneous in our thinking and what we later realise is there isn’t a linear path to your definition of success. Don’t stress now and it’s normal to have these thoughts 💭. Just pursue the best that you can do and everything will fall in place. Side note: read how will you measure your life, it’ll help you think deeply about choices and life
