Should I buy a Windows (I'll dual boot with Linux) or Macbook?

I currently use a Windows laptop dual boot with Ubuntu. I use windows only and only for gaming, which I haven't done for 6 months cuz I don't find the time anymore with work and few other hobbies (reading mainly). I also sometimes love to fiddle around on Photoshop, premiere pro etc. Thinking of buying a new laptop sometime soon. Since I haven't been finding the time to game anyways, I was thinking should I just buy a MacBook then? People say it's better for developers and it definitely has a classy vibe and sexy sleek look windows, especially gaming laptops, lack. I have heard photoshop and premiere pro cracks are available on Mac too. Battery life is also so much better. I see 2 disadvantages though, because of which I'm unable to decide. What if I do start finding time to game again? I was thinking in that case I could keep upgrading my present gaming laptop as it is still pretty good. Is that feasible solution? Or maybe if earn more, keep another laptop dedicated to gaming. I don't game often, but whenever something like control elden ring etc comes out, I do play and finish over a period of time. Is Mac as customisable as Linux? I'm no arch level customizer btw, just usual ubuntu lover, so weigh accordingly.
