That’s why wealth in shares isn’t actual wealth as it will decrease once it’s liquidated..
It's isn't like they're earning money in the meantime, they take hefty salaries which is decided by themselves. CEOs salary and other expenses are cost to company which helps them save taxes and in the end they have shares.
