Beware..Fraudulent act by a IT professional

Hello all, This incident happened with one of my friend. She is looking for a job change and these people contacted her saying she is selected for interview with Godrej and Boyce. His name is Aniket Archarya His linkedin profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/aniket-acharya-054647108 She passed all the rounds which were only for 15 mins( she appeared for data analyst role). He called her today stating she performed well and but her Power Bi skills are not upto the mark but still the management decided to go ahead with her. He mailed her the offer letter and but there was no joining date mentioned. When inquired he told her that she has to do one certification in order to get onboarded which costed around 17,994 INR. This is the portal of the course http://deep-learning.school Since she found this strange she investigated in linkedin contacted other HRs who have verified badge. They confirmed its a scam. To all out there beware of these frauds masking themselves as HRs

I have tried contacting people who have listed properties on 99acres/housing/no broker and the people who recieved my call(almost 99%) told me that I need to deposit 1000 or 1500 INR(only via online payment), upon receiving which they will create a visiting card for me. Once I have the visiting card, the property manager would be meeting me on the premises. Something seems fishy and leads me to not trust them. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation? Please list your experience.

Today i got a call form an company name " Genique management services pvt lmt" , HR was asking to pay Rs. 3600 from me for technical assessment test . She also mentioned that the job location will be Canada / Australia 🤡

However, after paying around Rs 24 lakh in around 40 transactions, the man realized that he had been cheated -- How and why people fall for these? Also how they make over 40 transactions? Also a lot more people have fallen for scams than I initially thought. It's only when you tell them a story about other scams they tell their story.

Hello Grapevine fam, I want to share my story and get everyone's suggestions on how to proceed. I have been working with this startup for more than two years. Recently, my manager and HR head called me for a meeting and said I wasn't living up to their expectations and they wanted me to resign. In the same discussion they said, the company would be paying 2 months salary as severance pay and my LWD would be in June since the notice period here is 2 months and this would help me in my job hunt. So having faith in this company, I resigned. Right after that my manager and the HR head is not legally acknowledging the two months of my salary as severance pay. And the very same day, they sent me the experience letter which had the same day as my last working day, despite them mentioning my LWD would be in June. How do I proceed now? I have given my best to the company in the last two years. But things turned out this way, very dejected and disappointed with the startup.

Hello guys, I worked for a cheap useless startup as a coordinator where i see they use cheap tactics ro hire people and work for 2 companies work getting one company pay , yes this happens They hire tech folks from naukri promising 30 percent hike and as per offer you will work for Kreatio but in reality u will be working for kreatio and webnish and u will work all day 15 hours and even in weekends sometimes they fire people due to not picking calls and random reasons , no proper workflow, no insurance and no proper work flow there is a manager called Ashwin who will use cheap tactics to get people and make their life a hell, plus they constantly fire people as they don't have clients and their top level management is nothing but an dumb folks and the Tamil management makes life an hell for new employees, heared them are hiring aggressively so an caution post Please don't be a victim to this company Company details . https://www.kreatio.com/ They have a hr who is nothing but a shit as he himself doesn't know how to behave to employees

So, I am looking for senior level jobs and usually referall /direct connects have worked better. But today I had to upload my resume on shine.com 'cuz the opening on linkedin, redirected me there. Within an hour I got a call from an agency called evolution planner and what seemed like a young boy in an animated voice asking if am looking out etc. What spiked my curiosity was him asking if am looking outside India, which is not usual opening question. Now its usual for consultants to call so it was sll okay till he said there will be a small fees. Now again, I know of senior folks who deploy headhunters and I was like maybe these people have got my profile from somewhere and are looking to source business from me. I wouldn't have paid but I entertained to see where this is going. He said Microsoft, Oracle etc have shortlisted me. Funny given I have worked in startups in marketing ( and not even tech ) so don't knw whats the skillset match. Anyway he told me to create an account and my final red flag was when he said site name like www Dot..lol who says it like that. I cut the call pretending am getting another call and he can call me later. He asked me to confirm since he will have to hold the client for me. Lol It's happened with me for the 1st time and unfortunately searching this company name doesn't throw any negative reviews either. But this is a scam,right ? Also since when did google start recruiting like this. Have you heard of this company? Also have you had such experiences.?

Corporate catfishing? More companies are posting realistic job listings that don't exist. Companies doing this are trying to trick employees into thinking the company is growing and that they are hiring more workers to alleviate their workload. This is not only manipulative, but immoral. If you want to increase productivity and alleviate stress in your office, start by showing appreciation for your employees and encouraging them. Share some companies you might know that have been doing this.
