Indian Social Media Influencer Dies in Tragic Accident at Kumbhe Waterfall

I was out to have dinner. When I was looking for what to eat near the billing counter, I heard people shouting. When I went there I saw that a man was lying down unconscious and his wife was shouting to call an ambulance. There was another lady who was giving chest compressions to this man. All this while I kept looking at the unconscious man and mind was racing and I kept thinking what can I do to help. But I couldn’t. It felt like me or anyone being there would just add to the panic. So I was just standing there numb Luckily the unconscious man opened his eyes and seemed ok soon enough. They probably took him to a hospital. I’m really grateful to this lady who took immediate action during the chaotic few minutes. This incident will stay with me for a while, partly because I feel bad to have gone numb during such a situation and partly because it makes me realise how we don’t care enough about our health. I hope that person recovers quickly

Recently, I watched a video where Rishikesh was portrayed in such a glamorous way that it was hard to recognize. I visited Rishikesh myself two years ago and appreciated its raw, laid-back vibe, but this influencer made it look like a luxury destination. What are your thoughts on these travel influencers?

There was this video of an Indian girl Ektaa who had moved to Canada, and expressed her views on why she had come abroad. She actually made some valid points about how she felt safer here in Canada, at worst she was kinda annoying. Left to herself none would have even cared a damn, but our Social Media Influencers had to jump in, troll her, call her names, mock her. And then we had the Uber Deshbhakts coming up with how dare she comment on India. Ultimately the trolling just gave her even more fame, ended up with Truecaller giving her an offer. And all those who trolled, mocked and made her world famous ending up with total egg on their face.

A few years back; Insta was run by Google influencers. After some time then Microsoft & Amazon entered. Then it was COVID > Layoffs season. Now we see Instagram influencers from TCS, Accenture, WIPRO, HDFC Bank, SBI, Junior Constable from CRPF & so on… Where we are heading? If everyone becomes an influencer then who will close the JIRA tickets? 😉🤷‍♂️ Which one is your weirdest corporate influencer?

Although currently there are no casualties, but the clip of someone jumping off the building to save themselves still haunts me. They are currently in critical condition and I hope they recover completely. It is starting to appear that rapid growth is becoming a duel edged sword. Yesterday's incident is a stark reminder that development and safety need to go hand in hand. What is the opinion of others on the platform. There have been other fire related incidents in other metro-cities as well.
