Selling a car

Recently sold one in exchange for a new car. Will recommend you get quotes from everywhere... Spinny, local pre-owned dealers, Cars 24 etc. Spinny etc will come check the car, and local guys will ask for photos first. So make sure you get the car properly cleaned inside and outside, it makes a difference to the initial quote you get. The more quotes you get, the better position you are in to negotiate.

Also, leave your morals and sense of fairness at home in a locked box. Play the game and you'll do well. Confidently tell people that "mere pass [1.2x] ka offer hai, aap kya kar sakte ho?"

Maruti TrueValue gives good price (in my experience) if you're exchanging your Maruti car for a new one.

Sold my Ford to spinny.. they have a good deal.
