Introspection

I am 28, i haven't been much into sports for my entire life. I want to pickup some physical activity as a hobby. I was considering badminton or football. How to get started with it if you don't have any friends to play with? Also can you learn and get good at any age? Are there any football coaches in Bengaluru who will teach adults?

Basically the title. I have been working in the sales domain for more than 5 years and for the last couple of years, I absolutely hate it due to stress and lack of interest. I have been learning python inconsistently for the last 1 year but now I have shifted my gears and learning statistics and ways to implement it on the real world problems through Python. Internal transfer is almost impossible as it is a pure sales organisation which outsource equipment from China and sell it here. I am a little bit concerned about my efforts and time which I am dedicating for the learning as I have gone through various articles and similar LinkedIn profiles and found one point of commonality i.e. Almost everyone had undergone a course based certification from Learning Sites such as Upgrad, Simplilearn etc. this questions my process of learning and making me worried about my decision to go on a self learning path. I don't have any Godfather in companies or good friends through whom I can at least apply for a refer. All I can do is to apply directly over the website. Would like to know your opinion?

I am in a tricky situation with no hopes for promotion soon. Already spent a good 7-9 years of my career here. I want to take a break and rethink, maybe do an MBA or CFA Not sure whether I need a break or am being frustrated and lazy. Not sure if I will pick back that momentum I had in my initial career time. Also an opportunity has come knocking at the door, for a completely new field when I was mentally preparing myself to disengage from work. What to do, ?? I know it's my decision, but a 3rd person speaking honestly would help me a lot! - Need some good advice!

I'm 22 and want to start life on my own terms by leaving family business and want to do something on my own. I don't know how can I begin a new journey for my life. Any suggestions??

I will be starting my career in tech as an FTE next month. Although I wanted to start in a PBC, life had other plans for me. Need some advice or maybe something which you wish you knew if you were my age for a successful career in tech. Learning and growth at utmost priority, don't care much about wlb at least till I am not 30 PS : base is 17 but have a huge amount of loan to repay.

engineering and MBA background, not that smart, but a hard worker. havent really accomplished anything in life. wanna enter IT field am i too late or can i push myself to do the impossible?? be brutal and unforgiving. i wanna see the reality of my FAQed up life

Doston, I'm a 26 year old, run-of-the-mill MBA grad who has just been coasting through life until a very recent and intense encounter with the perils of modern life. Background brief: Academics : 8/5/8; MBA from NMIMS Mumbai ~2yrs of work ex in sales; have worked in financial sales, currently working in non-alco bev sales I have very few hard skills and am not sure where to start. Still, I'm seduced by other lucrative jobs/profiles such as finance, PM, consulting, which feel inaccessible at this point. I've accepted that there's nothing I can do to change the past, but I'm seeking guidance on how to shape my career from this point forward.
