Shall I Go for MBA

I'm currently working as a SDE. I'm planning to pursue an online MBA from a private college so that I can continue working at my current company. I'm seeking advice from anyone with experience in online MBAs, particularly regarding placement after completing the program and which private college is best for it. I have just 6-7 months of full-time experience. I would appreciate guidance from seniors.

Should I go for MBA in top 10 b schools india like IIMs, XLRI, SPJAIN, etc So a little background about myself. I graduated in 2023 from a tier college and managed to get an off-campus job in an investment bank as an SDE. My current salary is 24LPA. Would it be beneficial for me to do MBA from the above mentioned colleges Like would the placements there be better than what I have currently? Also if I can save enough money in 2 years would a MBA in US in a top 20 uni be better than MBA in IIM? I will be going for further studies sometime in 2025 or 2026. My main goal is to improve my salary and build a network. I have also managed my own dev agency and did freelance projects in the past 4 years. If anybody has gone through the same please let me know your experience. This also applies to MTech/MS as well Thank you.

Hi folks, I’m a Sr. PM at a good startup currently getting 40 LPA. My total experience is 6 years (2 years PM). One of the CXOs suggested to me (over a casual conversation) to consider doing an MBA from ISB or Ivy League colleges if I can afford a career break. I know that post-MBA might not see a huge jump in CTC but from a long-term perspective do you think it would be worth it? Will it open more avenues for growth?

Is it beneficial to do Online MBA or PGPWP from IIM’s, considering that the fees is ~20LPA and the classes are conducted online or on weekends. I am currently working in a big 4 with 5years of experience in tech consulting and earning ~ 30LPA, leaving current job will be a difficult decision, therefore I have been considering such courses. My current employer might not be able to give me any promotion on this basis but will it help in long run and help in switching to MBB’s ? Also, does the degree of these courses specify online or anything which sets it apart from regular course degree?

Thinking of doing an MBA degree Main factor worrying me is I'm making a good amount of money in my current job (20lpa, 2yoe), but I want to do an MBA to gain a broader perspective/get a business outlook/make friends😔/personal growth. I'm kinda hell bent on going for it, but also worried about how to extract time for prep etc as I would not want to go below the top 6-7 colleges. Want to know others experience who went through a similar situation. Is it worth it ?

I graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree from one of the old-IITs. I want to know the prospects that doing an MBA from IIM A, B, or C will open up for someone in my position, both financially and non financially. My current position is SDE-1. If I should do an MBA, how many years of work experience should I have before MBA?

I'm planning to pursue MBA either offline or online. Don't know where to start. I have around 11 years of experience in IT industry with more technical capabilities on cloud, devops and SRE. My intention in getting an MBA is to get out of this tech heavy work which is eating out my work life balance. Explode few options from edu startups, BITS Pilani wilp but couldn't decide. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I’ve been working in Saas sales for the past 5 years at global org and startups and currently exploring the option of an MBA in order to move to the US. My reasons for the same are - better pay, more opportunity and developing management skill set. Is it a wise move? Anyone here who has done this before and can advice? PS - I’m a BBA grad with good grads from a private uni.

Hi Guys , I am currently looking to start my online MBA from manipal. I need advice on the same whether it helps in my career or not .( The ultimate goal is to either start my business in 5 years or go abroad and work in a MNC). I am 23. But job is not ment for me tbh 😔. Have a business background but it's not stable that's why joined corporate for get some money for ok life. Please need guidance like a big brother on whether I should not do it or start with it ( Btech background not interested in coding as such). Or any other life advice! Thanks

I'm a final year industrial design student and for the past 4 years, I've grown an increasing interest in management. In the course I'm studying right now, I would say it was more than just design, and it was also pretty similar to a management course (I saw similarities because I also took a one year Product Management course in between). People advised me to take up an MBA after my bachelor's, but I'm clear about working for a couple of years at least before even deciding if i want to study more, and good MBA colleges prefer work experience anyway. Now, since I'm in my final year, there is a mandatory internship semester, which i thought would be a good opportunity for me to try and get an internship in the management sector, which can potentially lead to a job in the future. And no, there are no limitations on the type or field of the internship. Now I'm slightly clueless about where to find management roles, what kind of management roles, do they even offer management internships, what do i have to do to be credible enough to land an internship in the management sector and many more questions like this. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone (preferably from a product company) to give an insight or a roadmap for me to refer to before taking the next step.
